Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself.
This was taken last week on my trip to Nottingham. Newstead Abbey was the former home of Lord Byron, founded by Henry II in 1170. The house has many rooms open for viewing, so many in fact that we had to break for lunch and then return to finish off. As you see we were blessed with clear skies, a rarity this summer in the UK !
