This is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. A time for reflection and renewing our devotion to God. A time to stop and take stock, and to listen a little more carefully to His voice. I was not brought up to observe Lent but since joining the Anglican church in 1996 it has become a treasured time for me, building up to the wonderful joy of Easter Sunday! This year I especially feel the need to think carefully and consider any changes that the Lord may be asking of me. After some thought I have decided to spend some more time reading.
