Resurrection: Rob Bell

Resurrection - Rob Bell

Is the world ultimately a cold, hard, dead place?

Does death have the last word?

Is it truly, actually, honestly dark?

Ha Ha... I know you are saved.... but now you are saved in my favorites...

Have a great week....see you on fb.
Thinking that because salvation was gifted to me that death has no hold except for the temptations of the devil. That death far worse than any physical death! Wishing you well! Cathy

Surely Jesus overcame death. He did.

Did he just make a god out of resurrection? Jesus did not say believe in the resuurection, he said believe in me, and I will raise up all that the Father has given me. What a subtle twist of words. Jesus I am the resurection and the life he that beliveth on me shall never die. I wonder if that was intentional?
Hi Gregg. No I don't think so. He continually mentions Jesus as the source of this resurrection power. He says, 'embraced, graced, and saved by God', and talks about the power that comes from the empty tomb.

Hi Mike. Without Christ's Resurrection -there will be no Christian religion and all His preaching and teaching would have been in vain.In Him we live and we have a hope for the future.
