This is what I do: I don't look back, I lengthen my stride, and I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

What about the burglars!!
I must say that the concept of an "out to lunch" sign is surprising in today's 24/7, all-access world. I visited a store a couple of months ago -- actually specifically drove to this town to go to this store -- and the sign on the door said it opened at 10 am but that the owner was semi-retired, so if he did not show up promptly to go across the street to the spice shop and to keep in mind that many nights his shop stayed open past the posted 6pm closing hour! I waited an hour and he never showed up! I was a little irritated, but I guess his quirky style and ecclectic taste is what I really like anyway!! :)
You know, we Californians eat out so much, I'm often glad to eat IN for lunch -- and dinner. But it is actually true that sometimes you can eat out for less than eating at home. But I got lamb chops today and they are a very rare treat in this part of the country and they were superb. I try not to think about the little lambs.
In SA the burglars would have a feast and a fate day with all your belongings. What an open invitation for uninvited guests!
Ha ha Deena!!
