Life

We live in a world full of cheap substitutes. For a culture too busy for depth and development, values replace virtues, celebrities replace heroes, style replaces substance, shame replaces guilt, and the self replaces God as the center of life. Source unknown.

I found this so challenging! What are the things I long for in life? Is my heartfelt longing to know Him and follow Him in ALL I do? Our culture is often in danger of becoming shallow, but with Jesus there is nothing but deep deep positivity, relationship, hope, joy, fulfillment!

Well done, Mike! I feel I have made great strides against these very things, but there is always more one can do.
