Trust... Run... Glow... Burst!
Proverbs 3

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over.
But don't, dear friend, resent God's discipline;
don't sulk under his loving correction.
It's the child he loves that God corrects;
a father's delight is behind all this.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Abbey from Abbey's Road. I found your blog through Cathy at "A Bit of Blarney" ...

Leave it all to Proverbs, one of my most favorite books of the Bible.

Have a blessed day!

For many people, trust in not an easy thing to do these days....So, this is a great reminder, Mike. Without Him we can do nothing!
Beautiful reminder, Mike; thank you. Putting my trust in God has been the theme of my life in many ways. When my mom crossed over years ago, I ran to God and even though I couldn't feel the Divine through my pain and sorrow, I imagined a rope with me holding one end and God holding the other, and I told Him that even though I couldn't feel Him right then, I knew He was there and would hold me in my sorrow. I've been unemployed for 8.5 months now and throughout it I've put my absolute faith in God's perfect plan for my life. I know that He has a place for me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it will be. Seeing the Divine, holding the Divine in everything makes it all so beautiful and without fear.
Thanks Rose... so inspiring :)
