Kingston Swans

Kingston Swans, originally uploaded by duopastorale.

Today the sun has appeared, and after a very dull August this is much appreciated! Hoardes of people were out today walking along the river at Kingston. The river is lined with lots of restaurants and it's obvious that al fresco dining has really taken off, despite our unpredictable weather. The swans were making the most of the occasion and frantically gobbling up whatever was thrown to them.

Nice and lively picture.
With this Blogger frame I succeeded in watching the film in spite of the slow connection!

I completely understand about longing for blue skies and wanting to get out and enjoy the world around us. The swans are beautiful. I've never seen so many in one place. Take advantage of the sun and enjoy the day.
Quite a contrast from the two black swans I saw at my mother's in July at the duck pond...Really beautiful! Cathy

Wow! I have never seen so many swans like that. We can't feed our "ducks" here any more because it attracts animals that aren't native to our waters. Beautiful swans.

Wow, this looks cool! =)

I like the way their head goes down together. I've never seen these. We don't have them in India (Atleast where I am).
