Lullabies

Kate Rusby - Who will sing me lullabies

The sacrifice pleasing to God is a broken spirit.
God, You will not despise a broken and humbled heart.
Psalm 51:17

Isn't it amazing that the God who created the universe and is so much bigger then we can even imagine, has eyes to see a broken and humbled heart! This week Sidarth reminded us that, The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all, Isa. 53:6. Why? Because He has seen our wandering hearts. He saw that we were lost and did what was necessary to show us His love and win us back by entering into our suffering and going to the cross.

Who will sing me lullabies? The Bible says that God, The LORD your God is with you, he will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing, Zeph. 3:17. May we all hear His singing voice over us today....
