Selah

God, You have rejected us. You have broken out against us; You have been angry. Restore us! You have shaken the land and split it open. Heal its fissures, for it shudders. You have made Your people suffer hardship; You have given us a wine to drink that made us stagger. You have given a signal flag to those who fear You, so that they can flee before the archers.
Selah
Psalm 60:1-4

The Chinese earthquake continues to hit the headlines as more and more people are reported dead or missing. The toll is now up into the tens of thousands! Burma also continues to suffer as people remain cut off from help, both by water and also the non cooperation of the government with aid agencies. As Christians we believe in a God who is good; a God who loves us and weeps with us. Let's pray today for all those who are overcome with grief, for those who have lost their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, children, friends; for those who have lost all their hope. Let's ask God to heal. And let's also take pause (Selah) and listen to these signs and warnings and make sure we are ready for that Day of the Lord which will come as a thief in the night. (1 Thess.5:2)

Such sad news, when the world is adjusting to our own work.
Great words Mike,, and that photo, Gosh its so fantastic, isnt Nature beautiful.

Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
God does suffer as we suffer and weeps when we weep. This is a wonderful reminder of how we, as his followers, are called to prayer and action. If we are not able to give to those in dire need in China or Myrnmar, perhaps we can give to those in most need near us. For through this message, Mike, we are again reminded of our call to serve, as well. God Bless!!! Cathy

Hi, thank you for your encouragement.

check out these sights

On the second link check out the mp3 Matthew Stephen on Flase revivals.

It lasts almost 3 hours. But seriously I think it is crucial information for what is happening in these times. I have just discovered UBM and I am a little cautious about some things but that MP3 is something else.

I too like you, was wary of Toronto but then warmed to it. However the fruit which is coming from it seems to doing more harm than good.

Read Issiah 30:21 and proverbs four. The season that we are moving into is a hard one. God is seperating the sheep from the goats. Only those who are set apart and built upon the solid rock of the Word of God will overcome. Keep praying for discernment and act on what God shows you. I think your concerns about these revivals have come from the Holy Spirit, dont suppress them or you will miss the leading of God.

God Bless you

p.s let me know how you get on with the links.

Such awful tragic disasters. This could be the imminent 2nd coming of the Lord.We dont know the time nor the hour when the Bridegroom will come.I do pray for those who have not come to know the Lord as their Saviour.

Let's hold up all those who suffer in our prayers and pray for the softening of the hearts of those who rule especially in Burma. It's terrble how political bias can cause such suffering.
