Then Came The Morning

Autumn dawn, originally uploaded by James Jordan.

I will exalt You, LORD,
because You have lifted me up
and have not allowed my enemies
to triumph over me.
LORD my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

LORD, You brought me up from Sheol;
You spared me from among those
going down to the Pit.

Sing to the LORD, you His faithful ones,
and praise His holy name.

For His anger lasts only a moment,
but His favor, a lifetime.
Weeping may spend the night,
but there is joy in the morning.

Psalm 30:1-6

HI nice blog, I read what you have to say and find it very interesting though I may not agree with all of it. Visit me some time. I will make it a habit to come to you often. By the way can we exchange links?

Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning...

God is a God of all our emotions. That's good! This is a good verse to remember as I focus on joy and getting back to joy from distressing emotions.

There's an old Bill Gaither song with that title.
"Then came the morning, night turned into day. The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn. Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun. Death had lost and Life had won, for morning had come." (http://www.allthelyrics.com/song/494559/)
