See What a Morning!

It is true! The Lord has risen
Luke 24:34

Today we celebrate the most momentous day in the history of the whole universe! Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and conquered sin and death. Everything that separated us from God has been removed in one fell swoop and God is reconciled to His people and His creation. Darkness has turned to light, pain to joy, despair to hope, strife to peace, sickness to wholeness, fear to faith, worry to worship, death to life in all its fullness. Jesus has walked in total obedience to his Father and endured pain and heartache, and in his rising again he comes to take us with him into glory so our bodies may be like his glorious body. There is nothing that comes close to the wonder and glory of this Easter story. Let your mind be blown this morning and believe in a God who loves you and has done everything possible to show you that love. Join the resurrection!

I know the Easter story by heart as I learned it as a small child from my family BUT your last three words. . . "Join the resurrection!" . . . are most beautiful!

I hope I can remember that as I want to type those words on my Easter cards next year.

My post today is for Easter also. Come and see the message. Easter blessings!

Thats the greatest message in all history! The Lamb that was slain has risen! Holy holy holy
A wonderful reflection!!! The truth is that everyday we rise and go on our journey we are again celebrating the Resurrection...We sometimes forget that!!! I know I do and have to be reminded! Thank you, Mike. Cathy

Another great photograph and word.
When I clicked on duopastorale it comes up with you Mike in Flicker. I am in the dark as to what these groups are about. Can you enlighten me?

Yes. My prayer lately has been that the Lord would just take my face (spiritually speaking-thought physically would be fine too) in His hands and help me to look at Him, to see Him. I need to see Him! I NEED him to 'blow my mind', to know Him.
