Skywatch #6

Swan, originally uploaded by duopastorale.

God...who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
1 Timothy 6:17

Today is Skywatch Friday. OK, so I cheated, but I figured that there was a lot of reflected sky in this one! I have been fortunate to have had some time off this week and on Monday I discovered Bedfont Lakes. It's very close by, but this was my first visit. It is just outside the perimeter road of Heathrow airport and surrounded by office buildings. It is an oasis in which birds thrive. There were people feeding the ducks, birdspotting or just taking the dogs for a walk. The sky was blue and I could see planes taking off in the near distance. As I approached these swans they came very close and posed beautifully for me. It struck me that even in this urban environment nature is bursting out and reflecting the glory of God, giving us much to enjoy. For more skywatch photos visit Dot at Strolling Through Georgia. Have a great weekend everyone!

This is one of the most beautiful photos I have EVER seen. The water drop from the beak, the water drops on the swans back. How in the world did you do it? It's totally awesome.

Mike to answer a question you asked on my post...Do I sell cards?

Yes! I am in the process of putting together a catalog of all my greeting cards and paintings. I will be able to finish it up and get it printed shortly after we move. If you would like a copy of that catalog, with order form and price list, I would be so happy to send you one. Just email me your address if you are interested.
Thanks for the encouragement!!
LOL Wanda
I can't imagine to be in such a wonderful place on a day off from work! (beautiful photo!)
