Sunday Worship

I have become all things to all men
so that by all possible means I might save some.
1 Corinthians 9:22

A note from the photographer of the above:
"Ministering to a young woman that was straight out of college on the side of the road; she was intrigued by the cross, which brought up a conversation about Jesus and the hypocrisy of the church."
"Church people think about how to get people into the church;
kingdom people think about how to get the church into the world.
Church people worry that the world might change the church;
kingdom people work that the church might change the world."
(Howard Snyder)

Amazing picture and amazing quote!

The quotes remind me a book by Myles Munroe. Actually two of his books- "Rediscovering the Kingdom" and "Kingdom Principles". In my entire Christian walk, I haven't heard such powerful, though basic, truths. I sat for one of his sessions [just half an hour] on the Kingdom of God and it was mind-blowing! If any of you can get hold of these two books, please do. I highly recommend it.

How true is that quote! Thank you for sharing it, Mike.

I'm back from reserves training and plunging right back into my blog again. :-) I've also got an award for you to pick up so do drop by my blog when you're free to do so.

God bless, and Shalom Aleichem.
And so Jesus taught us through the Our Father. Great for a Sunday's reflection!!

Symbolic pic... Carry your cross!
How about this quote from Philip Yancey-
"I rejected the church for a time because I found so little grace there. I returned because I found grace nowhere else."

Hi Siddarth, I find Myles Munroe 's theology - out of the world...I mean really spaced out. Compare it with the Word of God.
