I recorded this CD of recorder music with my harpsichordist Helena Brown, in St Martin's Church, East Woodhay near Reading in Berkshire, in August 2004. It is a church widely known for its beautiful acoustic and is often used for recording sessions. We spent 2 days recording these baroque sonatas by Handel, Vivaldi, Bach and Barsanti and also fantasias by Telemann and the famous set of variations by Corelli, La Follia. Chris Burmajster (formerley Decca), produced the CD along with 2 location engineers. The photograph we used for the CD cover is of the painting inside the lid of the the harpsichord by Angie Madigan. The alto recorder I used is made by Von Huene and is a copy of an 18th maker Denner. The harpsichord is is by Andrew Wooderson and after Ruckers 1639. If you are interested in buying a hard copy with sleeve notes, the cost is £10 (inc. P&P). Please email me with your full name and address and make payment via paypal by clicking on the button below. I am happy to send anywhere in the world and will post on to you asap. Alternatively, click on one of the download links on the player above and you will be redirected. Thank you!

You certainly play the recorder well. I would love to hear you play the recorder without the Harpsichord in the background. I am sure you would be good.
