The Wind of the Spirit

The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

In a performance orientated society it is difficult to fully take on board that we cannot earn God's grace and favour, it is given to us us freely and at God's discretion. We are promised the Spirit with repentance and baptism, but there are times in our lives when we must wait on God to turn towards us and fill us, blow upon us. Come Holy Spirit.
