Friends

A friend loves at all times...If one falls down, his friend can help him up... I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you...Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friendsProv 17:17 Ecc 4:10 John 15:15 John 15:13

Friends are vital for our well being. It is so important to be able to stand and stare in the the company of another and share experience. To have fun, and to share our troubles. Friends share in every aspect of life; in joy and fun, in sorrow and heartache. Good friends are like golddust.

Last weekend I enjoyed a fun filled weekend with some good friends. We shared good company and lots of good food, but mostly we laughed. We had fun together. I like to think that Jesus was there with us, that he was also doubled up in laughter with us, just enjoying the moment, treasuring the experience. Jesus calls us his friends. He shows us what real friendship is.

So true. I have only one best friend and we are always there for each other. Before she moved we did Bible studies together. I think this post goes along iwth what the Bible says about the Body and community. We build each other up. God gives us unique gifts to share with others and to use to build one another up in Christ. By the way, I like the picture. Reminds me of teh footprint poem.
