Wimbledon & Rain

Wimbledon and rain are synonymous and the butt of annual jokes. This year tennis and showers have become inextricably linked and the myth of flaming June has been put to rest. It's the typical British summer that has become famous the world over, the memories of hose pipe bans of yesteryear, a dim and distant recollection. Not that clouds and rain don't have their attractions and benefits. And think of all that lovely water. But please, can we have a summer now?
