As I thought on this verse today I found myself asking lots of questions. What about the starving of our world? What about the those of us on the planet who are not satisfied, who die of hunger? What does this verse mean? Perhaps this is a good example of not taking verses out of context but placing them in the whole sweep of the Bible. Perhaps we should ask ourselves whether we share our food sufficiently well. Maybe God has already provided enough for all. Maybe we need to show a little love to our neighbours in the third world and be the hand of God from which they feed.
