Come and Buy

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost... I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Rev. 3:18 Isa. 55:1

We are encouraged to come and buy from the Lord without money. First we need to ask ourselves if we are thirsty or not. If not, then perhaps we are trying to quench our thirst with things that the Lord has not given us, things that do not satisfy.

The water God gives us is ultimately satisfying John 4:13-14 We come without money, but the riches that God gives us still have to be bought. Jesus is our redeemer. He bought us, and brought us out of darkness. Everything has been done to enable us to just come and make that purchase with not a single cent of our own.

Wow, dude, your blog is SO cool. First of all, I love the pictures. They are so visually appealing and go so well with the verses.

Secondly, it's really inspiring when you just need a pick-me-up or encouragment.

You're doing a great job!

Well!Mike! This is just awesome! Ijust read a prayer this morning-depicting this frightfully beautiful picture. The Trinity is like a deep sea.The more we enter, the more we find, the more we find the more we seek. The Lord fills our hearts with living water and our souls continue to hunger and thirst for more.He consumes us with Holy fire and we continually have a burning desire for Him.Well done Mike-keep up the good work- a true inspiration.
